A city that is always moving / an air-conditioned city in the middle of the desert
Situated on the Persian Gulf coast of the UAE, Dubai shares borders with Abu Dhabi in the south, Sharjah in the northeast, and the Sultanate of Oman in the southeast. Also known as the financial capital of the UAE, the citizens don’t have to pay income tax to the government. Apart from holding more than 130 Guinness World Records, Dubai offers a platter of wondrous attractions including the famous buildings Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab, the Dubai Mall, the Dubai Aquarium Tank, the air-conditioned bus shelters, the endless food chain and more.
Dubai even has an artificial archipelago named Palm Jumeirah that can be seen even from space.
It also boasts its longest automated metro, cheap fuel, miracle gardens, gold-distributed ATMs, exotic pets and fancy cars.
Unbelievably, it also has a minister for happiness that promotes happiness among residents in Dubai. Well, the list is endless. There is nothing mundane about Dubai; this fantastical city is the modern-day Eden on Earth.
